Temblast Song Viewer

This program is a viewer for song files in the .crd format. This is a simple format for transcribing songs with guitar chords. Files in this format can be found all over the Internet. As they are simple text files they are viewable with a standard text editor. However to display them and print them nicely a viewer is required.

The Temblast Song Viewer has the following features:

Displays chord charts when a chord is mouse clicked
Can transpose the song into different keys
Can zoom to large size for viewing by many or from a distance
Can scroll "karaoke" style
Supports control via serial port, joystick or USB HID foot pedals
Can print tersely without repeated choruses or chords
All formatting controlled by user CSS style sheets
Extensions to the original .crd format

Installation

To install, download the zip and unpack it somewhere. To set file associations so that it will by default open .crd files, do:

C:\>songview.exe /r

Upon first running you will need to select a style sheet by clicking on the field in the status line.
